New Seigfried Sassoon biography and talk by the author

A new biography of Seigfried Sassoon by Jean Moorcroft Wilson is now available.

Combining material from two of Wilson's bestselling biographies, 'The Making of a War Poet' and 'The Journey from the Trenches', Siegfried Sassoon explores the life of one of the twentieth century's greatest poets.

Tickets are also available for a talk by the author on 14 November in London.

Donation to Church explains Blunden's connection

In the church where Edmund is buried visitors can buy a booklet of his poems, selected by Jim White, a dear friend of Blunden's. However, many people have bought the booklet but not realised that Blunden is actually buried in the churchyard. Jim has kindly provided a display piece to make this connection clear. Blunden's youngest daughter, Catherine Ferron, tells us more.
