Margi Blunden talk to commemorate the centenary of the First World War
The talk will focus on Blunden's war poetry. It will explore his place as the only poet who tells of what it is like to survive a war. He wrote his last war poem 'Ancre Sunshine' 50 years after the Battle of the Somme.
The talk is on Thursday 6 March between 10 and 12am at the John Clare Cottage, 12 Woodgate, Helpston, PE6 7ED.
